How to cure the infection
This is a salt pit, deleting most of it.

Go to leviathan and feed enzyme. Bring 2 blu keys to get in. Freed from infection.

There's a search bar. Go ahead, you're allowed to use it.
You need to go to the deep and find the one who will bring you the resepie for the cure
How ever, still need to wait for full lunch of the game for it to effect.

Yeah, the story is not fully implemented yet. So final bits like say, the rocket escape are a combination of not fully finished, and being held back for launch.

For what it's worth, the virus doesn't do anything to you except flag Warper aggro. Though warper aggro can happen even when you are not counted as infected yet anyways.

But trying to learn how to cure the virus will be good practice for "Surprise! Last minute fetch quest!"

You can get cured now in Experimental. Next stable build should have it as well.
Still waiting on the Gun Deactivation sequence to be implemented so you get the signal to go get the plans for the Escape Rocket in the Aurora.

i got the enzyme, however i suspect i need to see the sunbeam meet it's fate before it would consider the flags correct and remove the infection.

I'm not sure exactly how they're going to handle things regarding the Sunbeam, but it has been made quite clear that you can't save it, regardless of precognitive knowledge of the game's systems.

But on the plus side, getting enzymed now resets warper aggression! Woohoo!

Indeed, watching Warpers jack up infected Bone Sharks makes my day everytime. :)

Well, if you can manage to cure yourself and not activate the Sunbeam landing by not using the radio, you could in theory save the Sunbeam. No idea if it works in practice though, but the Sunbeam will not land until you activate it by listening to the radio message.

The devs have previously stated that you cannot save the Sunbeam, even through sequence breaking. Hence "regardless of precognitive knowledge of the game's systems", which I admit is a bit vague and unhelpful.

Last I checked, if you do sequence break and deactivate the gun before it comes in to land, the gun will still mysteriously activate long enough to shoot it out of the sky. No difference in overall result.

So, theoretically, once the rocket pad gets properly implemented, you could just not activate that recording at all and make your way through the game straight to rocket production and escape, ending the game. Since the Sunbeam never entered the atmosphere, it never got shot down, therefore technically saved!

There is dialogue for the sunbean arriving if the gun is deactivated but it either is not fully implemented or is currently bugged but it will be saveable, still won't land though.

Google searches bring people to forum posts, so telling people to search instead of asking in a forum is really stupid. This page is literally the top result when you search google for how to cure the infection. If you don't want to answer someone's question, then just don't.
