controller trigger spin
Ok so I only just got this game so i may have missed something. I am trying to use my controller with this game and no matter what i do i cant stop it from spining me around whenever i hold one of my triggers. The btn mapping doesnt say anything about turning but when i say hold the right trigger my character starts to spin in a circle. This is rather annoying and id like to stop it but dont know how. If i look at the keyboard mapping it has what would be the triggers tied to L and R mouse click but those dont spin you around. Am i missing something?

As a controller user myself, I've never seen that happen... Have you tried cleaning the trigger? They tend to get stuck after a while, or maybe an external program is messing with you, do you have a controller keymap program installed?

they are clean and i dont have another mapping program at the moment. also it only does it with this game. I use the controller with several other games and this does not happen. may i ask what steam controller profile you use?

I use a wired Xbox 360 controller, not a Steam one, so i wouldn't know.

no i mean what do you have it configured as? steam profiles for every controller you use. I take it you just leave it as default then. welp then i have no idea why im getting this then :/

What profile? I've never heard of that, i just plug and go, maybe with some rearranged buttons.

Is it a wired controller or one with a removable cable? Before I started using my Xbox One controller I tried using one of my wireless Xbox 360 controller with a cable but it would always cause problems with either not being recognized as connected or spinning. Heck it even caused my Discord voice chat to get all static and echo-y.

you can configure your controler for each game. You can load controler profiles from other people and so on.

SOLVED it. All i had to do is set the steam profile for my controler to default and set the ingame controler to xbox one. So if you use a ps4 controler with this game dont pick the ps4 setting.

In my case turning off all other (even unplugged) game controllers solved the problem.
