Help getting to the grand reef seabase.
Hi guys, I've been looking for the deep grand reef seabase, to no avail. I've looked around multiple times, yet I can't find it. I'd REALLY like some directions/video (Up to date)

If you have a compass: Stand on top of your lifepod and turn until the "S" is under the "TH" in "Depth" at the top of your screen. Swim straight in that direction and then down after you cross a high ridge in the Sparse Reef. You will know when to go down when the water goes from yellowish-brownish to dark blue. The entrance to the Deep Grand Reef should be right below you.

From the entrance to the cave, go roughly straight and stay close to the ceiling. There will be multiple Crabsquids in the area so once you hear a lot of chirping then you should be in the right area. But keep in mind Crabsquids hate light so they might come after you. They almost destroyed my seamoth AFTER I had it parked somewhere and went inside the seabase so if you have a Seamoth then make sure you park it somewhere the Crabsquids can't get to before proceeding to the seabase.

Good luck.

EDIT: I should add that the seabase itself is up high near the top of the cave on a natural pillar of rock. It can be hard to see sometimes.

The abandoned base is in the DEEP Grand Reef. Its a slightly deeper area that has a green tinge to the area. There are 2 entrances. One is near a large wreck at around 350ish meters???

if you found the right pda, you get a marker to the base.

not sure if it was in the mushroom cave or the flooting island where you find the pda.

Check the date this thread was made. That marker was not in the game at that time.
