Crabsnake hanging around safe shallows (o god pls help)

Right, so basically I was out looking for quartz, wanted to get glass to expand on my really small base and as i'm returning to my really small base I see a crabsnake about 75-100 meters away ( maybe closer, maybe further) and I immediately shat myself and made a dash for my base,y da fuq is it der? if I had a seamoth I could have went up to it and talked it out, maybe even told it to ♥♥♥♥ off back to it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mushroom thing, but I sadly don't, I haven't left my base yet cause it maybe right ♥♥♥♥♥ der (yes I is lil ♥♥♥♥♥ boi) pls help I don want it to be here o god

They like to swim up to the surface sometimes, they're usually pretty harmless you can even swim right up to them. Maybe it just wants love

you wanna know the worst part? before I saw this crabsnake I was reading on the dicussions about crabsnakes coming to the safe shallows and I was thinking how unlucky these people were... feelsbadman

I got 99 problems son, but a crabsnake in the safe shallows ain't one.

Use the console commands to kill it. Invisible and then instagib are the commands you want. Then stab him. After toggle off the commands.

If you havn't spawned it yourself, It might hint you have a mushroom cavern just below. Once you get rid of your crabsnake - take a look around. A hole in the ground might lead you to a purple pink lit resource bonanza.

Earlier I did find the mushroom cave then when I looked down I saw a crabsnake in it's mushroom right below the enterence so I didn't want to explore down there, I can barely handle 1 rogue crabsnake never mind serveral, but yh is there any diamonds down there?

Try the northern mountain for diamonds. You'll get a lot of gold looking, but it's easy and you can pick up lithium while you're at it.

You can go straight from your lifepod to the mountain and be fine. Then go in the above ground cave systems.

It is just a bug, it should be fixed and ironed out before this next update. (Estimated to be the 20th)
