Subnautica console doesn't work??

Whenever I type something into the console, nothing happens! Can anybody help me?

Works for me, check that your commands are accurate and accurately typed.

I've looked up the commands, and are typing them properly, but I have only tried some of the egg commands, and they don't work, but I'll try some different ones.

Are you using capital letters at all? Everything has to be lowercase in the console.

Do you have the console option enabled? you have to re-enable it every major update. I have to use it everytime I load game to change my field of view for VR. so I know it works

If you're trying to get an egg, there's no special command for eggs only. It's just using the /item command to give you them.

Example:
item stalkeregg 3

They are not asking for geeralized comments about what commands you are using. They are asking for the EXACT characters that you are typing in the console you are actually typing into the console including spaces and numbers

Im using stuff like jellyrayegg and stuff like that because apperently thats what it calls for

In the console, type exactly as follows:

item jellyrayegg

That places the egg in your inventory

spawn jellyrayegg

That spawns the egg in front of you or nearby.
