How do you download worlds

I just watched IGP's episode on top 5 bases and I want to download one of the bases. Anyone here know how?

You can't!
Just if you ask the person for his save files it could be possible!

If the base you're looking for isn't listed then that's because the people didn't give him approval for posting or can't be reached yet.

But how do you actually put it into your subnautica?

find your saves and copy it into an empty slot folder

To be clear, I don't think you can take content from one save and put it into another, at least not yet. But, I could be wrong ! From the looks of the save files, it'd take a game-specific editor program.
