Of course the seaglide needs power in form of batteries!
They just increased the used time bc before it was empty after minutes!

You can replace the battery by hitting the R key while using the item. You can put in a new battery or you can charge up the existing battery in the battery charger. You can find blueprints for the battery charger around the grassy plains and wrecks there.

Good point. I never use them so I forget about them :) The swim charge fins are made with the modification station and a blueprint found in the databoxes by the lifepods.

Not anymore. They nerfed the Seaglide's power drain a few updates ago, now it gets recharged by the charge fins same as anything else.

You can get the battery charger quite early. So just keep some spare batteries with you. The energy gladly lasts for a while by now.

battery charger fragments can be found in or around grassy plains wrecks(usually for me anyways....)

Hello. An early stuff to make : when you have a new item to build (like the torch, etc) try to build this one with an empty battery, or at least used battery : with the new item crafted, this battery will be full instead of empty.
