idk try hatching an egg and putting scrap metal in the tank

sadly not, would be a good way of getting teeth

Everything in Alien Containment is both passive and idle, so probably not.

I have not managed to get them to. In the tank they are not fully grown.

However tank bread stalkers are less likely to bit you when released. So raise a few, let them out and farm away.

My game for some reason crashes every time I get close to the kelp caves but I crashed my seamoth into a 3+ group of stalkers and got 8 teeth.:steamhappy: 4 at a time.

Nope! Nothing you raise inside the containment tank, is able to escape on it's own.

As an aside bio reactor wise, fish you can eat are the most efficient fuel (takes up 1 tile each in the reactor inventory, adds up). But predators also work out nice. even two of the worst fish is still more bio power than an entire reactor full of plants.

tbh if we are talking bioreactors. I'm lazy, grav sphere + Stasis rifle = easy fuel :)

If you hatch them in Containment tank release them outside then they will (use metal scrap). Plus they won't attack you because they aren't wild when you raised them. (but they will taunt your metal base or seamoth, so I suggest drop them away from your base.)
