Indeed, look along the various other biome edges bordering the Safe Shallows. It's not too difficult, just takes a bit of courage. If you've been to the Floating Island's main Abandoned Base, you should already have the Stasis Rifle discovered, too.

Samoth fragments spawn around pod 17, if unlucky, stick to seaglide untill you can acces seamoth bay inside Aurora.

I only found 2 in the aurora

He was referring to red grass biome, forget Aurora.

There are all over the place, especially near the Aurora. I had a much harder time finding the powercell charger, water filtration machine, PRAWN and complete Cyclops than the Seamoth.

Found two pieces where i have built a base, 3rd one is hiding somewhere in the wreakage if its in the same location. Its about 800 meters or so away from the Aurora Look for the Red grass and lots of sharks.

The Seamoth fragments are most common in the red kelp biomes just off the safe shallows. Look among the kelp itself. They can also be found in almost any biome around the edge of the shallows.

In my world..., the grassy plateau just beyond lifpod 6 is stupid with seamoth fragments...

near pod 3 (compas) you will see lava vent, wreck and small kelp forest. from wreck go to grassy plateau then you will see cave enterance to seabase2, keep swim untul you see kelp forest again. find small wreck. there 3-4 seamoth wreck, bio reactor, and vechicle bay. extra modification station, Vehicle modification station, reinforced dive suit if you lucky.
