I said the Mountains, as in the area that's underwater, not the Mountain Island.
I always go to the wreck there and occasionally gather resources. The warpers and reapers scare me though.
It's more the leaving of the cyclops that concerns me. But I go to the wreck before I have the cyclops to try to get the engine fragments. It's normally my first or second stop when trying to get them.
For me the koosh is the most underused biome. I go to the wreck, the lifepod, scan a koosh or two and take a sample for my gardening and never return again. Perhaps it's a player by player thing which biome isn't really visited.
Actually it was a throw up for me between the Mountaiins and The Koosh zone
Staying close to the ground helps in this case, too. It lowers the chance to get grabbed by the Reaper Leviathan, because its size makes it hard for it to navigate.
