Precursors
Just started reading that precursors where also in halo games, is halo universe tied up whit subnautica universe?

A lot of various sci-fi games, movies, and books use the term Precursors for their ancient, supposedly-deceased, mysterious aliens. There's no deliberate connection (so far as I know) because that would likely tapdance all over copyright laws.

It goes beyond the word "Precursor," too. Ancestor races and civilizations are a very common trope in Science Fiction but most of them use their own term.
