Lost blue artifact

Ok, made it inside and got the blue artifact. Then when I started to leave, I got killed by warpers. When I respawned the blue artifact was gone. Any way to replace it?

You should be able to craft one with ion crystals.

Spawn one in, I don't it can be crafted.

next time save right after you grab it.

I used the portal to go back to the orbital gun to save me the return trip. Didn't have to worry about warpers.
