Clearing scanner room chip pings from your HUD

Is there a way to clear out the pings that show up on your HUD after installing a HUD chip from a scan?

You can deconstruct the scanning room a bit and then rebuild it.

You can deselect an item on the scanner list. Or remove the HUD chip.

Yep, after scanning for something else, the pings from the last scan disappeared - it takes a few seconds for it to update though.
