Where are the Jellyfish?
I love all the sea creature creations, but the one thing that this needs is jellyfish! It would make the ocean feel more like the ocean and add so much. From tiny ones that are practically harmless, to giant man o' wars that could be deadly!

Just having a few random ones floating around, especailly little ones in the safe shallows that barely even hurt, would be really enjoyable to watch or add to aquariums. Occasionaly maybe even having swarms that flow through some locations, especially with bigger ones, not acting aggressive of course. Just adding something to be aware of and have to avoid touching, being harder to see at night, and giving a hightened sense of danger in the dark.

Maybe even huge man o wars that are deadly if the sting is not treated with a craftable antivenom within a short time, having a "damage over time" effect that is fairly rapid?

Having something that deadly would add another thing to be aware of and prepared for. But mainly adding a more aquatic feel to the sea life and even more beauty to the atmosphere!

^^^ These resemble jellyfish but Subnautica categorizes them as flora.

Yes, those are great, but I mean floating around randomly, so the player has to actively watch out for them. Having something that is fixed to a location is not very fearsome. Even just having little ones to add to an aquarium or watch floating around in the ocean would be really cool! Maybe even schools of them that would be something to avoid and swim around or manuever through at strategic locations?

This has been a topic of discussion many times in the forum over the years and totally agree that the world needs them.

That would be a pleasant addition.

Actually, a quick jaunt over the earlier stages of macroscopic life on Earth can yield a lot of interesting possibilities. We still don't have any crustacean-like creatures yet, or sea slugs, or sea urchins, or even carnivorous plants. A Nautilus-like creature that has a shell and that can swim would be cool. An Anomalocaris creature would be cool, too. Or maybe a tentacled worm? What about something like a seahorse?

I want seahorses.

All the slow, soft, gummy jellyfish were eaten by all the faster fish in the ocean. Lord knows I have been eaten by them several times...
