I'm not claiming the games bug free (not by a long shot) but they have fixed a lot of the long standing bugs in the time since.
Are you saying that this bug still occurs? 4.25 years after it was noted in this thread?

yes, it still happens, I was just collecting some lithium in my prawn suit in my survival world today and I wondered if it still happened, since this was my first playthrough in about a year, and lo and behold it happened, so I figured I'd look up how old this bug was.

This is true, I was just making a joke. they've certainly fixed a lot of bugs, but some things really confuse me why they never noticed to fix before they started on below zero. for example, the dirt decals on the walls in the aurora leave giant dark square shadows on the walls if you shine your seaglide light onto them, even in the underwater sections.
