New Cyclops Fabricator

i just spent about 10 minutes finding out how to make the new Cyclops upgrades, i went to my base fabricator, my workbench but could not find them, then i went in to the engine room and saw this new fabricator stuck to the wall. im a stup. lol.

No, no, I struggled to find this as well until I read your post. It wasn't super clear that a new fabricator was added to the engine room of the Cyclops.

In prior stable updates I had built a regular fabricator in the cyclops and got to fab the cyclops specific stuff. I haven't got the blueprints yet for the new upgrades, do you use this new fabricator to build those? What I see now is the new fabricator will do the depth MK1 (then you use the Modification Station to build a MK2...seems peculiar to do it this way but oh well....)

The Cyclops Fabricator is for Cyclops upgrades only.
If you still want to craft or cook stuff while on board, then you'll need a "normal" Fabricator as well.
