Mecury Ore in game ?

Is Mercury Ore still in the game ? The Scanner Room will show locations, but theres no ore nor is there caves under that location.

Yes it is.

Literally just swam over to the rocky spires bordering the shallow sparse reef right by the grassy plateau and picked one up. If you didn't know it, mercury now has a new model, it looks like a rough, reddish rock with specks of blue.

Ye i find one here and there but it has a question mark as an icon so i assume either it will be redone or removed.

I think I saw on their trello roadmap that mercury is going to be removed. Makes sense because no recipes actually uses it.

Get one when you go to Second Officer Keen's lifepod - there is always one or two on the walls of that chasm.

It used to be used for something, but damned if I can remember what.

Afaik it is still used for Cyclops Fire Suppression module.

Mercury has been removed from the Fire Supression Module, and it is unknown if it still exists naturally in the full game. Probably not, because I've never seen one in the full game. Maybe in the arctic expansion....

Mercury would be a logical component for thermometer which is also removed, but that's just a guess.
