How do I get a submarine?

I have a mooon pool but I can't figure out how to create or find a submarine, and I can't place the submarine upgrade terminal inside the moon pool area?

Get a mobile vehicle bay. Put it in the submarine.

you make the cyclops the same way as the other vehicles, with a Mobile Vehicle Bay. To unlock the cyclops blueprints you need to scan each of 3 sections/parts of the cyclops 3 times. the engine pieces are inside the Aurora cargo bay, and the Hull and Bridge components are scattered around the mushroom forest near the Aurora front.

Seamoth pieces are in the Aurora and Red Grass biomes. Scan them and then use the mobile vechile bay to build em.

The mobile vehicle bay is just a little item that you deploy outside in the water, and it will float to the surface. Swim up to it and you'll be given some options. Climb onto it then access the little panel that's on it. From there you can build the seamoth/submarine.

Nope cyclops engine parts are near the island where the sunbeam attempts to rescue you (The island with the alien base)

Be warned leviathans prowl near the aurora's thrusters and the alien island, so try to stay away from them.
