Soulmask has made a very good start.
But in the long run, the content needs to be more exciting for me.
Instead, after the busy initial phase with base and clan building, the rest of the game is still too boring for me. While the early stages are completely satisfying, I feel like the mid and endgame didn't get as much love. (Playing solo and on private server multiplayer.)
The content of the game phases should be clearly different, or there should be additional content and motivations to keep it exciting. Nothing is more boring than the same old story.
Perhaps there should also be more incentive to move. So that base building remains attractive. It should be worthwhile to build a well-designed base. Locations should offer real advantages, even later in the game. The building system has to be fun. The result should be worth it. It should be worthwhile to use new tiers and replace the old ones.
The many new portals are all well and good. But they also make the world smaller.
The survival aspect could be even more important for me. Base defence can also play a bigger role in PVE.
It should never be boring to find new clan members.
There should be regular new ‘adventures’ in the long term if you want to keep the game interesting. And also new clans, new NPCs, new faces and new skills.
And it should never be boring to explore the world. Rewards for peeking into every corner are my personal highlight! Just like surprises of all kinds and unexpected twists.
In my opinion, it's also worth telling a story that you can pick up again and again and that helps define the goals of the game.

The new large Siptah map in Conan Exiles was a mistake (and i think the developers there have acknowledged this in a round about way too). I hope you're extending the existing map, not making a new one, and if you are making a new one have it mechanically significantly different to the siptah/exile-lands Conan Exiles map issues.
Did they mention if it is paid DLC or free? waiting to see before casting judgement.
