you really think using big words is going to make you any right. you are the troll here and a bad one at best. ID's are public all that is public can be used because its PUBLIC. TOS can do nothing about it. stop cheating if you don't want your id posted, is plain and simple.

and yes i hate online cheaters wil a passion, i find them the lowest of the low, and that's why i'm pro identity card registration to an game acc, so when you get banned for cheating its for ALL GAMES.

There isn't one.
All they had to do was say they were taking steps to send out bans to those caught cheating and could of left it at that.

This is such a fun game , who said its terrible? its better than all those surviving crafting game out there. I dont understand why you want to cheat in a game like this, unless you are with low IQ. Well done Developer BAN all those morons who can't play a game without cheating.

it has its issues for sure, better game then most survival games also true... but i'v hit a new solo problem and its a weird one.
so i'm running around with a lv50 (fighter type with good skils) and come across a elite turtle, that thing DESTROYED ME in seconds WTF, why was that nessesary to give it that much attack and not to mention the heal that thing has.

Can I use something like Wemod on a private server (that shows under Private Servers under the Online option in the game) to let my kid play without dying? This is the only option I can see unless the admin options are expanded to allow admins to give specific players invincibility etc.

Why do that to your kid?

No matter the age, you should give them the opportunity to adapt and over come, learn about consequence and repercussions.

Steam ID's aren't secret, anyone can find any other users. I can find yours, it's 76561198030096699, it's not rocket science my guy. It's not against the TOS to post someones steam ID, it's easily accessible information by anyone. You can't do anything with it, it's not going to grant me access to your account, it's no different to your username.


Maybe you should think before you expose how much of an idiot you are. For someone who supposedly cares so much about security and anonymity, you didn't do a good job by leaving your full name on your steam profile, wasn't hard to find your facebook account at all.

the very concept of this list is against valve's terms of service and eula, plus, as far as i am aware, against some anti online bullying laws in my state in usa. yall dev guys might want to just keep stuff at punishing cheaters, not naming and shaming those scum. rules apply to everyone equally, including you.

I saw this post and came here specifically to ask what the pont of listing people like this is. Hadn't thought about ll the other things mentioned by others even. It serves no purpose and personally puts this game on the level of some old mmo companies that mass banned people which of course i quit playing.

IT doesn't even affect me becaue i play solo anyway and even so it bothers me very much. Come on this is not only tacky but rude and obnoxious.

Only a banned cheater would have a problem with this. Incomplete acct numbers is NOT "naming" and all you've done is waste time sending emails to Valve and your state's AG office that will also waste their time.

But are you really going to assume that the Soulmask execs didn't have this idea run past their lawyers first? Do you really actually think that Valve NEEDS YOU to hip them to what's going on on their own platform?? When did gamers become so easily triggered?

You don't want your account # shown in incomplete form, indicating you're a cheater... then don't bloddy cheat. Simple.

No. Cheaters are tacky, rude and obnoxious. Banning them and listing their PARTIAL acct numbers is showing they are doing something about it. And it's not "naming" because NO ONE is going to give a ♥♥♥♥ enough to crack the missing acct numbers to ID anyone. If it was anywhere near as easy to ID an acct via the partial acct numbers, Valve would have shut this activity down. Use your heads!

Cheaters (in multiplayer modes) are lame-assed ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that ruin the experience for the rest of those playing, and SHOULD be baned and SHOULD be shamed! Cheating is shameful, and only losers cheat. Period.

Lastly, using mods/cheat engines in a single player mode is NOT cheating, unless those mods carry over into multiplayer modes. Modding one's single player game is cool. Modding in a multiplayer game, is pure cheating. And be honest, if you have to use a cheat to beat other players, then you suck because YOU aren't beating anyone, your cheats are doing it for you. WEAK!

Show me where the ban list touched you in a bad way.

does it have to be a list like this i get it you want to "Name and shame" but it kind of feels like spam when its so long the post, just my opinion
