Moving the household members in large numbers
So I will have 2nd base move soon. But problem is this time I got nearly 10 tribesmen in the base.
Question: How can I move them to new base more than one and in a safe way, so they would not be eaten on the way?
I guess this option is not yet available and I'll have to lead every one to new base, that means about 10 travels back and forth. Oh hell.

Yep - I noticed after having like 4 of them, I wanted to create a war party and voila you can only use 1 person with you....that sucks. You have to do it one at a time....I have about a 1km + distance between my second wood base and my final stone base.....its going to be annoying but eventually I will do it.....the second base has a lot of resources in storage which I cannot move easily too.....since demo is almost done, I am going to just leave it all....not like I can do much with it....and I have not figured out the coop thing yet really.....the 2nd location I tried with turkey and caby but only a turkey coop fit and the feeder or whatever its called - I managed to tame 1 turkey but never figured out how to get it into the coop...so its just walking around my base....now its fully grown. My 3rd base has farm on it, but nearby I will see about dropping another bonfire and creating an animal pen maybe if I have enough time left - I ended up with a limit message of bonfires, so I need to figure out if that is a thing.... I have bonfires across the map to help speed respawning in areas and keep them near camps for easier access to human slaves

This is always the dealbreaker for me. I want to control large war parties instead of having 50 guys in the base on benches working as craftsmen and a tiny group that follows you like 1-3. I realize its probably hard to balance games for groups of war parties with 30+ guys, but it should be possible...

I guess i just want the fighting and warband parts of Mount and Blade mixed with the open world crafting we see in games like Soulmask but I'm not sure it will ever happen....

I mean, I'm fine to have only one follower with me. But just for purpose of base move it would help greatly and save a lot of time. Leading them one by one from old base to new, cmon ppl, it's not year 2000. I even agree with their teleportation behind the scenes (in game menu). But to make 20 journeys 1 kilometer each, meet Panther Pardus every time, is little too much, man.

did you try the patrol feature, or giving them all a bunch of tasks at the other base, then 'following' the group to keep them loaded as they travel to it, or is there a range limit on taskmaster orders like that?

The videos on the store page show small war parties and having a tribe that is moving to a new location with their mounts. The Store Page also mentions Tribal Warfare where PVP is only a version of Tribal Warfare that we can experience. One player and one companion against an entire tribe is not Tribal Warfare.

Haha, good idea, but I'm afraid, the paths are too dangerous to let them all carry all goodies for 1 kilometer and plus. Dunno about range, but that could be very logical move. Yesterday with a friend we tried to get him to chat with scout, because even on my local save, his map is under fog of war. So first time we whacked the scout before he managed to have word with him. 2nd time scout spawned on top of his hut, impossible to climb up to him or push him from there. 3rd time was a success. BUT they respawned every 4-5 minutes!
With such ridiculously fast respawn times is impossible to make safe path (clear enemies) at least for an hour. And I mean dogs too - 20 lvl dog can kill you almost as fast as Panthera Pardus or Croc.
Actually now I remember, at same start, I had one task given to tribesman. The distance was less than 100 meters, to go get some fiber or so. Nah, said - too far.

There is a limit on setting a task. You get "task is too far away".

I tried this. lol

I get that. But what I ask, is mere quality of life option or time saver. It can be done like you can "pack all your people an/or animals into crate or cloud and unpack them at new bonfire". I understand it is not real or logic as the game upholds such principles, which I welcome a lot. Even a part of me is against it, but when I think how much time it will take, it is demotivating. But again when I contemplate about + and - of that, I remember how much time simple terraforming in Life is Feudal used to take, or crops used to grow (for real days), it is not that demotivating in the end. :)

At least rebuilding is a lot easier than some other games since we are not dismantling each base item into their resources. Having to dismantle each base item into its components and then build everything again through the Building Workshop would be annoying.

I've moved a couple of times so far, mostly short distance around the starting area to find better grounds, like for water and clay. And one thing I can tell you already, for me at least, is the "click, return item, move to next...click, return item, move to next..." routine gets monotonous really fast. I will keep my "precious" stuff, which is to say workstations, metals, fertilizers, fancy gear, and other goods that hold higher value. You can find rocks, twigs and weeds anywhere, so do NOT bring those.

Also, I find the dismantling of the actual house to be VERY tedious, especially if it's a big two-story thing, or more. Uh uh... I've done it a couple of times already, and it sucks. I would instead think putting someone to full-time work on the Builder station, and others to "unlimited" wood and weed harvesting, would be easier. Then mass produce new house components, and build on the fly. It'll cut HALF of your work out from tearing down the old place. I don't know about higher level houses, i'm only on wood right now, and chopping trees is easier than the "click, return, move to next" bit for each and every tile of the old house (x3, at least, when you consider floors, walls, roofs, etc.). And since I'm not an engineer, it takes longer for me to simply plan how to build the stupid thing than it does for my people to gather up the parts for it.

However, I am NOT looking forward to my next move, regardless. I have a lot of "stuff" on me now that I'd want to keep. And I'm sure that move is coming eventually, if only to find even BETTER grounds as I level up to higher tiers. Ugh.

And yes, I've met with Mr. Random Jaguar a few times. That's not fun. So, I placed a couple of map markers on the locations, so I can try circling around it next time.

At least moving will be much easier in Early Access when the Vajra Ape is available to make Portals usable. In the current Demo, we can build Portals, but we can't use them.
Just craft a couple of Portals in the current base and the next base and moving bases is far easier compared to other games. Moving tribesmen should be easy to do provided that they travel with us when deployed. Of course, there will always be one long trip to transport the portal and its foundation to the new base.

i think is easier to leave first base there, and once you get teleporters going, you could go back and forth. and as for the workers, you can dismiss the ones who are in base 1. start getting fresh new ones at base 2.
You can cut your travel trips in half through the power of self deletion. Drop all your stuff somewhere and go become jaguar chow. Control a tribesmen instead of reviving then you can make another follow you. When you get to new, remodel and recontrol original body to repeat and control another back at first base.

This is what I planned to do. Just about to make the portal now. However I did two runs to move stuff, took my alpaca and a tribe member each time all loaded up. Got everything I needed really. Now got new tribesmen gathering boxes full of stuff.
