If it does go to console I doubt it will be for a while.

As for your PC, the game runs pretty well, ram is the only thing that I think would limit you but you can get by with 16gb quite comfortably. If you have less than that these days then you really shouldn't be trying to game on that PC.

Steam has a refund option if you play less than 2 hours, that is more than enough time to see how well it runs for you.
