Need a feature to move base as Once Human Game
We need to move base to new location so that we are not bored to death and quit the game at newbie location. Once Human game allows you to move base.

Why not just build a new one?

Sure, but it's also fun! And on top of that, it gives you more to do. I just think it's weird that the original complaint was about getting bored, while at the same time looking for ways to have less things to do. Odd.

I like to rebuild my new bases. I always find better ways to manage where things go since I've just left all the past mistakes from the previous base.

Here you can collect your entire base, move it to another location. You won't lose anything!

i have several bases , for farming( some crops need cooler weather) and mining ..even a fishing village

You can build 6 bonfires on official servers per clan. I'm not giving up on my base in the rainforest as its only place that can't get invaded. It has 2 bonfires and an arena between them. Tried to build a base in giant forest near claw iron mine, but in the end it decayed, because seemed more like a hassle to build it, since I've not unlocked the small portals yet.

With the fast travel big portals being in the game, feels a bit un-needed to build another base for now. Just more work and more server lag rendering stuff.

I think it would take too much development effort to add a feature to move an already built structure from one uneven ground and place it on another different uneven ground. Not one surface in Soulmask is the same.

If we could claim all that's within a bonfire radius and place it in some sort of special storage chest, and move it, and re-build, probably would be something Devs could look into. Even just an easier way to dismantle would help.

But moving an entire base at once, never going to happen.

I think this game needs a "send to bonfire" feature for tribesman much more. So far the most tedious part of moving bases for me is having to ferry your guys

I'm not too deep in the game yet, just heard about moving the tribemen is not that easy and straightforward... did I heard wrong?

Well... Once Human shown well, this problem can be solved if there is a willingness in the devs, its absolutely not an impossible task (the surface is the same there as in Soulmask)

But I agree with you, the game has to be planned to support such feature from the beginning, adding it later might be too much effort and do not worth it.

This not "once human". It's a survival crafting game. Which means if you want your base moved, go build another. Its good to have many bases, both big and small in this game.

Moving bases doesn't make sense since a lot of bases are based on terrain. After all, how do we move a base that is scaling a cliff or waterfall. However, a blueprint system where we can create blueprints for specific areas of the previous base would work.

I dont think the genre itself predestines that we might not have QoL features.

well... you are overstressing the survival aspect of the game... its nothing special, honestly, I haven't even felt there is "survival" in this game more than Once Human has...

But lets not go into the debate, I really just want to understand what are the implications and methods to move to another area of the map - or if it worth it at all.
