I lucked out with a red and master crafter for 122 toolcrafting and 119 armor crafting.
Just nothing >100 crafter skill.
Yea, not going to craft any more steel until I get a higher level crafter.
Thanks
I don't really know what you mean by red and purple barbarians? Is this something you see in life perception (Q) inspecting?
That's indeed it.
They'll have a little color indicator next to their name, which is pretty much "rarity" (same colors for your gear, as an example - if that helps you understand it a little better).
And yes you do see the color holding down q if you repair the 'quality assessment' node... which you should do asap imo.
I bet that 119 in armorcraft hurt like mofo
So he has 6 out of 8 combat skills over 90 of which 3 are 120+, again, as a white novice. I would've never given him a chance if I had seen him and now feel completely fooled by the game, as I now kinda have to deter every single NPC as they can obviously be even way better than red masters.
I mean I get that we are told that red masters have higher chances on good stats, but this is ridiculous if we have no numbers to work with. I would argue that I was simply SUPER lucky, then again I realize that for workers, I grabbed every single one to find 120s and half of my 120 workers are novices and skilled people with random colors, not mainly red masters as one would think.
I would still probably not bother to get a combat person unless they are orange. The rarity isn't about the combat caps, it is about their stats like stamina and load. A grey rarity has 100 stamina, a red has 150.
That is a great info I didn't have yet, thanks a lot! I hadn't noticed that and it makes a huge difference obviously. Only sad thing now is: my triple 120+ guy now feels "useless" :D
Again, thanks for the input!
