Build a tree house ?

Have any of you ever built a tree house? If so, can I see pictures? I just tried to build one but can't get very far due to the construction limitations (stability). Is there a mod to disable this?

I built a platform in a tree, but I haven't had a reason to do anything with it yet. And yeah, there is a limit to how far out you can build from the foundation. I'd guess you can use pillars to fix it, but I haven't really bothered since I haven't actually made anything of it yet. It'd be kinda nice to have rope bridges and stuff so you could connect platforms together though.

I would like to build a little higher in the tree but I think that is not possible without contact with the ground. Yes, rope bridges would be cool.

YEah, it's possible if you have the treehouse foundation, just go up the tree trunk and build anywhere you want, no need to stand on the ground. I've got my platform at the top of one of those thick trunks.

Hi, iv tried it yesterday. The tree foundations are like max 2 u can stick on the tree plus flooring around 1-2rows. its not much but u can do a 2-3 floor planning today. Building in the great tree forest. what we need is side support you can do pillars but in my case its around 100pillars for all sides til the ground. :] - more extension on tree house builds would be awesome. You can fit a bonfire on it and few stations but a portal was a no go. :]
If u check my profile for SM i have a screenshot for the treehouse base there. its not much but its very high. aprox 17 wooden ladders to get down.

If you build in the forest with the giant trees (elephant area) You can put a lot more foundations around the tree due to its size and get a large base

Did it worked for you? Iv tried it yesterday and there was a limit of 2 that stick to each other. otherwise i got a message that there is no foundation. will try now maybe i misslooked something.]]

You can usually build three flooring out from a foundation attached to the ground. You will see the message sometimes when placing but what matters is whether the image of placing is white or red. Foundations floating with no contact to the ground or some other solid terrain beneath it aren’t a foundation but treated like flooring.

I built on a cliff and extended foundations up from below to the level of the cliff to extend my base into the air with foundations every four tiles out.

Oh yeah. I had to do the same on my pyramid on top of a mountain.. and a loot of pillars for extensions. The prob with the tree is they are huge and and if you decide to build high ur building it must take a lot of supports. some triangle/corner support would work well.

I was dissapointed in those treehouse support, was hoping for triangle and more choices.

So iv tried it quite a lot yesterday. There is a max on support blocks / pillars at around 10-12. There is no way to go above it for support sadly for now.

Here a small sreenshot. You can see my top platform is quite huge 2-3 rows on each side of flooring from treehousefoundation. Tho if you build big like i did it wont reach further on, you can see the foundations stacked as i tried to find a way to get up.

So treehouse yes. Just not high ones. Count 10 Foundations or pillars on top of each other.

Yeah you won't get any higher, also no need cause then u have to live with the branches sticking out everywhere.

I had the dream as well and found three trees that were close enough together to work with. It's a bigger base than I've had so far and can easily fit all the crafting tables, hot tub etc with multiple stories for bedrooms.
