Crafted Items Disappearing

I just spent 3 hours running around collecting Tin and Copper, 2 hours smelting to make bronze. I crafted 78 bronze ingots to make the weapon table upgrade 1, and 20 hardwood planks. The bronze completely disappeared from the box, and only 9 of the 20 planks were left. This isn't the first time I have seen this, and have other friends in my tribe complaining about NPCs eating crafted items. I've since disabled NPCs from moving things to boxes because of this.

I get that this is EA, but this kind of bug needs to be fixed ASAP. Not going to continue playing a game that waste 5 hours of play time.

Did you check the npc inv? ive never had things go missing myself.

Did you double check to make sure nothing ended up in their hot bar?
That's become a regular 'lost and found' for me.

Oh yeah I checked the NPC that crafted, the table it was made on, the chest it was supposed to go to. Like I said it's not the first time it's happened. There is definitely a bug where items are disappearing. In fact. I stopped the server and restarted it, and the bronze was back in the furnace.

Edit: I even looked in the chest to confirm the NPC moved them. They were there, and then 20 minutes later they were gone. Nothing else was queued to make stuff with bronze, as I was making the table expansion, i can't queue anything else till it's finished.

i'v notice them going to my storage chest and not putting it in, and its not in there inventory.

What reason would I have to lie? I thought it was bs too when friends were saying it until it happened to me....several times. A couple tines its like 20 leather rope here, "oh maybe it got misplaced or used", 20 planks there, "yeah that's strange". 78 bronze ingots later.. yah buddy, I'm paying attention cause it took me a long while to get there. ♥♥♥♥ was there one second and gone the next. I really don't GAF if you believe me or not.

i'm extremely aware of this.... I have all my boxes filtered, labeled but believe me or not, stuff disappears randomly when they put them in boxes. Until it happens to you, you won't believe it I guess cause I was the same way until I saw it with my own eyes.

More likely you forgot what you or your "friends" queued up for crafting, and the tribesman or "friends" crafted it with the "missing" materials especially since ingots and planks are used in many recipes. Especially if you are not solo, someone somewhere used the materials. A tom , ♥♥♥♥ and harry situation.

Game don't have a log system (Problem with total automation) so he said she said and whatever goes with a blank stare. lol.

I napped a buncha iron picks from another players npc, i was very excited to stash them because I don't have iron tools yet, i put them in a box came back later and they vanished from my base, you are not the only one with missing items.

Playing solo I have never had anything disappear on me other than the food the NPCs are eating. See if you can replicate it on the server with no one else allowed in.

Every member of my tribe has their own buildings. We don't use each other's ♥♥♥♥ without asking. We've all known each other for 30 years. I've played over 30 different survival games, not a f'n noob here. When I say it vanished, it vanished.

Edit: I'm also the only one of 5 on our server that's at bronze. So it's not even possible for their NPCs to steal it cause they can't queue up bronze stuff. Just because YOU haven't personally seen it, doesn't mean it's not happening. I so hope to god it does happen to you though.

It might be a server client desync. Like I said, I rebooted the server after it happened and the ingots were back. We haven't noticed anymore items missing since rebooting. Rebooting isn't always a great way to fix it though. Everyone on the server lost a lost a lot of time.
