Which bow do you use?
1.Bow
2.Longbow
3.Rapid Bow
4.Great Bow

I use 1. I don't really know the difference except the charge time = more damage I guess?

Thought about trying the long bow.... but taking twice as long to pull doesn't sound appealing.

Anyhow,
would like to know what your opinions are on the different bow types.
I've always played the archer type character in games for the last 35 years I've been gaming. (old retired man now).

Cheers!

I use the regular bow and the great bow. Great bow for oneshotting scrubs, and when I need to move while shooting I use the regular bow and throw smaller sticks in NPC faces.

Im no expert with the bows in Soulmask but I have played rogue/archer in almost every RPG since the Early D&D crpgs and Dungeon Master :) but anyway. I draw time=damage ofc but ive also noticed that when you use the larger bows, you can use the more Heavy duty arrows also that are multi shot arrows too.

Poster above. I do that also, good strategy.

I don't care to use the great bow, just for the fact I have to carry two different arrows. Maybe I'm being silly! :p

I find the big arrows too heavy tho, when clearing out a full camp like a ninja ur running out.

The Great Bow is basically a sniper rifle. It hits HARD and causes knockdown.

I use it to clear camps. It is also great for the first boss, Sabertooth. The thing to keep in mind is that it takes forever to draw, so make every shot count. Shoot them in the head, unless they are almost dead.

You just HAVE to raise turkeys or other bird to keep enough feathers on hand, as they require a lot of feathers to craft.

I usually bring 50 or so for a camp, and have arrows to spare after. Headshots with the great bow make most things die quickly. Plunderers are an exception, but they are a bit too meaty, considering they are harder than the stuff in the dungeons they sit outside.

I am a Great bow user myself.
I have a weapons master red quality tribeswoman who has -55% bow draw speed.
So i can draw a great bow as fast as a normal bow which is great for fast knock down killing.
I can knock and fire before they stand up from being knocked down.

I used to use the great bow, until the arrows got changed. Now I use a regular bow for the simple fact the NPCs drop arrows for them so I never have to craft them myself and my supply when I'm out and about never runs out. I don't use it a lot though as the ROF/damage is ok but not great and the NPC humans can dodge arrows in flight.
