i get the whole point is to posses people with the mask but why do they reset all their proficiency lvls when they die and you respawn them? and why cant i update their info at the table?

there is option to save updated data , but only if server have that option switched.
if you'r playing on priv/coop enable it , if you'r playing on official, get used to that , patch changing server settings might never be a thing.

If you prefer to play in god mode nobody is stopping you. Asking me to play in god mod on default official server settings is absurd. I hope that's not what's happening. If you don't like using the mask to morph into other characters, the core concept of the game, than don't do it or don't play Soul Mask.

Just make yourself god mode where you can't be hurt. Your proficiencies won't matter in god mode, won't have to worry about death too. Problem solved? If you desire to play Ark without dino's nobody is stopping you. Just don't ask me to play Ark without dino's. There is admin panel if you need it use it.

I really can't with all these people complaining about the core game mechanics, making these discussion topics over and over non-stop. It's really childish. Asking why the game has consequences on death, really? Feel like it's just a bunch of trolling to be honest. The developers already made no death penalties on single player or private servers for NPC's if you desired. Is that not enough?

Go into the settings and check one of the boxes that make it no penalties on death for NPC. Or play in god mode with the main character.

We really don't need another discussion about the mask system, morphing into NPCs, and or the cap on the main characters that make NPCs valued. Your "possesion is dumb" input is noted, don't like the game than go make a mod or your own game. This is how these developers made this game. If you don't like sports games there is zero reason to go tell others in the sports games discussions how much you don't like them.

wtf is wrong with you dude i dont have a problem with possession i just dont like getting a npc's professions to lvl 120 and not being able to save their info at that lvl if anything your little temper tantrum rant is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ childish the game is still a work in progress
