where are the servers?

i only get 1 official server when i search? i know there was maintenance, but didnt that end like 8 hours ago?

I can see plenty of servers but am unable to start my own dedicated server. Errors out everytime i try to launch it. Maybe that others are having the same issues.

?? Do you have a filter , VPN, or Firewall? When i click on official Servers, there a plenty of them.

I'm self hosting and the version installed on the server isn't compatible with the version they just released. Even with the steamcmd app_update and validate it's not accepting game clients.

linux... although I realized that they had 2 packages for server and I had the windows one on my linux server. *sigh* This is what happens when you don't research those "guides" online.

In the manual of GSM is a extra thing:

INSTALL


Install all in _CommonRedist
DirectX and vcredist
Windows servers only (downloading .net frame 3.5 from the inter web will not work you must use admin control panel) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSRMvCjuUdI

Copy list of file below on WS\Binaries\Win64 from root directory and start the server

steamclient.dll
steamclient64.dll
tier0_s.dll
tier0_s64.dll
vstdlib_s.dll
vstdlib.s64.dll

Means the above files have to be copied from the PC with steam out of steam folder to the server into folder WS\Binaries\Win64

And install Net.Framework 3.5.
