NPC let refill wall torch

Heii, has anyone figured out how i can let an NPC in my village refill wall torches?

Camp care task includes torch refill as far as I can tell

It's called Camp Upkeep. When you assign an npc to your bonfire, camp upkeep is included and they will refill your light sources as well as the campfire.

would be great if there was a possibility to limit the max fuel in standing torches, 300 logs by torch is too much, run out of logs quickly if you have many torches

Can't you limit the fuel to only sticks or something? I haven't checked on torches, but I'm sure you can do that with other wood burning things.

You can set the torch fuel types to not allow logs to be used

Beware you have to set it on Every. Single. Torch. Individually. This can be quite tedious and I wish that would change.

You can set the torch fuel types to not allow logs to be used

I know, the problem is that whatever fuel you assign in there, the upkeeper tribesman fill in the max stack of 300.
I would suggest devs to add possibility to indicate max fuel quantity desired for each light source.
