Any idea how to deal with the extreme cold of the NW mountain area?

When we went to the Volcano, we were able to stack flame proof, iced cocoa, and used ice cubes to get 5 stacks (+50) of flame proof.

We can currently go with chill proof mods, hot cocoa, but there doesn't seem to be a similar thing to ice cubes other than carrying a torch at all times? Is there anything else we can use?

My friends and I farmed the Tribe Barracks for their winter armour because each piece comes with a bonus cold resilience. Just be aware though you will sacrifice resilience on specific weapon damage.

You can maybe use Excitant (under medicine) it has -20% frostbite damage for 10 mins. Hoping your using chill proof mod 3 which offers 12 chill proof, mod 2 offers only 6. And if you already fully unlocked Explorer Mask, the Mimicry can withstand impacts from radiation, poison and temperature change. Those might work, I think. I myself am not ready to go there, I tried, I failed 🤣

Wait...where is the explorer mask? We thought it was in the NW cold holy ruins.

with all mask perks on the upper lane is the mammut set the best, but BEFORE u need to frind craftman from the 3 tribes learn in the snow area for the recipce and craft a steel fang/klaw/flint winter armor because every armor has 40 resistence + 4x 6cold resistence mods, and with that armor u attack the T1 mammut good luck^^

the explorer is in the North West holyruin city yep, its the highst level ruine atm, the boss is 65 Elite

I just made a post about this...but isn't there a final boss after that? That's what the modules you get after killing a pyramid boss to summon a final boss? At least that's what I heard they do, maybe they are used for something else.

Other than the food,
- kill snow people use their armor ( use 2 pieces) until you tame their craftman to make their armor. I made claw snow armor in steel.
then went to the ruin killed the boss for mask. the cube for the same mask you find in one of the rooms behind a puzzle in the same ruin.
note: the boss of the ruin is different from the final end game boss that you have to summon.
-(did not try this) another way , for group i guess, kill mammoth, make its armor for ruin .

respec your skill points, put everything into physique. this gives you loads of heat/cold resists that stack with cocoa, chill proof mods etc.
