Can anyone tell me how to get up above the waterfall in Rift Valley?

There's a POI that's a question mark, with a ancient tablet next to it that I cannot figure out how to reach above the waterfall at the far east end of the Rift Valley. I did the darn plunderer tunnels and Holy Ruins hoping that I'd find a way up inside there, but I never did. I'm stymied.

Can anyone give me simple directions on how to get to that POI?

ok, if I understand correctly; the way I did it was to go a bit left/west of the cat pyramid, keep the cliffs on your right, some dogs so be ready (bronze gear recommended). Then a small gap in the cliffs (kinda hard to find) leads to what you want. Be ready, elite cat lives there. Kill the cat, some boars and yet another cat. When you find the wood walk-way, there's the eagle that very much wants to kill you. Bring some crystals to access the portal on the other side of the river (bonus, tons of copper there). What; you you thought this game is easy?

Great answer. I'd already found that gap in the cliffs that you mentioned, way back when i first did the panther boss. It was so hard to find I put a map marker on it, so I was able to re-find it easy.

Back when I first found it I hadn't uncovered the rift valley part of the map yet so I had never explored the northward side of that gap....I didn't even think of that when trying to go where I wanted now. Thank you!
