Why are there not more mods on Steam Workshop?

Very few mods have been added recently to Steam Workshop. So far I am just using one of them, which is below.

Maybe because the Toolset is only on Beta ATM and most info available via Discord.

I'd like to make Mods, just waiting a little.

yeah gameplay mods maybe need to wait a long while, I was excited for more vanity side, additional hairs, face, war paint, armor looks, heck, weapon skins. But none so far, won't lie, mildly disappointed.

Nobody is going to invest the time and effort to make large gameplay mods when the game itself is still coming together. Doing so is a ton of work and having to change it on the fly just to adjust for new gameplay elements or changes makes it exponentially more complex than it need be.

I would imagine you will see more of that type of thing once we are near or at gold.
