Useless bodyguard

Are tribesmen useless at combat? It just keeps dodging and i get eaten. Battle behavior is on normal.

They will get better the more you use them and make sure you are using a tribesman who is a warrior or guard tribesman. They grow in skill just like you do but tbh dont count on them for hard fights. They dont dodge very well and I use mine as damage sponges to give you time to get the kill more than anything. Find one with the companion skill also. makes them take way less damage when they are deployed with you

2 of the 3 were warriors. All they did was dodge. Useless. If i even could avoid the wild animals but they're everywhere.

They are almost useless tbh... They are only good for being (There) which mean they sometime have aggro on 2-3 mobs giving you the opportunity to attack... Try to find a guard with the trait that reduce damage taken by 50 % when they are not controlled by you (the mask).
