How to build on top of the elephant mount??

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to build anything on the elephant's deck saddle. Any help would be great. :)

I pulled my elephant alongside the arena and then hopped on top. The downside is that once you build stuff on the deck, your NPCs cannot reach it to make repairs.

To get on top, just look at the elephant's trunk and it will show an option to hop up. It flips you on top with it's trunk.

Doesn't matter, once on top I can't build anything, no option to build, I mean HOW DO YOU BUILD ON THE THING??

Nobody is willing to tell me how build on the elephant's deck saddle? There is no point having a huge, Unusable elephant if I can't build on the thing. What a stupid addition, just a tease. Guess no elephant riding for me. What a shame.

there is a platform u can build in the crafters bench that is what u build on not the saddle.

Have the saddle, been on top of the "platform", cannot build anything on it. Come on people, keep seeing "I've built this and this on my elephant" yet Not One of you can spend 2 minutes to let me know how? I'm missing something. Enough with the Zero help responses, please.

Once you get up on the deck, you build the same as you would anything else.

How to get your tribesman up there? Ive built ladders and everything and have crossbow towers appted to followers but they dont go up there

Nope I’m having the same issue can’t put down foundation or floors can’t build walls or anything else so if you guys couldn’t help that guy can someone tell me what to do I’d like a small shack with a bed to sleep when I’m needing to

The problem isn't how to build it's what you can build, I haven't tested much but it seems like you can only build furniture, chests, defense stuff and a few other things, but no actual building pieces from what I can tell. So no foundations walls stairs ect.
