horned eagles and llama basket

Anyone else hate them as much as I do? They absolutely ruin the experience for me. You can't get away from them unless on a jaguar, a pain to hit when on the ground. Tired of them, and the amount of them that there is, is such an understatement.
Took forever to get an ostrich egg, just to find out I can't put it in the llama basket. Why? Running through desert to portal, then run home in the prairie holding an egg, dodging wolves and stupid eagles you can't get away from on foot. Then lost my ostrich egg because of it. 3 eagles attacked me at one time. I mean really.
I LOVE this game. And the eagles are seriously ruining it. Guess I'll have to pack up and move somewhere else.

I usually run around with a follower and she takes care of things for me when I'm carrying something. If I am solo I just use the hammer on the eagles.

When I got the ostrich egg, I used the portals back to my home. If your home isn't too close to the portals maybe make a quick hut with a bonfire and hatch the egg there then bring the hatched ostrich home?

the eagles/vultures are a non issue. you can drag them down with spear throw. followers with bows take care of them no problem too. what even is this complaint? the devs overloaded the map with portals. not enough ay?

If your playing on Single Player with multiple followers its not an issue at all. If your playing on Private talk to the server owner about settings, if your on official its a grind but eventually they wont be a problem
