... didn't find a way to do so ...or maybe IT IS somehow possible?
People keep wanting automatic repairs because early game stuff breaks easily. The further in you are the less you repair stuff not just because better gear have more durability but because they are more efficient as well.
1. The durability of tools, weapons, etc. decreases with each repair and you have to decide whether the repair is still worth it
2. I don't want the tribe members to waste resources on repairs uncontrollably.
