How to beat Tactical Guidance Core Boss?

I may have reached what I can do on Solo. Core boss just one shots. Doesn't matter how I time dodges. To many rapid fire one shots. Set it to easiest mode, but doesn't seem to impact boss dmg. Any insights to get past it's red death zaps? In Steel armor with 4.2K Hp.

krom doesnt care about your troubles j/k hehe. yeah they added new moves to the machine elites/bosses. just gotta get used to the timing of the new moves.

Playing, because easy is no fun... but... It's Death Zap from above smacks as soon as I come out of dodge. Haven't found a routine that works against that. Wondering if anyone is having any luck. I am in solo, so needs to be something that works without god mode activated.

take a shield. hammer's "Super Armor" works quite well if you need a buffer.

Learn their moveset. He has 5 moves I noticed now that the devs added 1. He has the circular floor zap when he opens then closes(dodge when he moves towards the floor after he closes). He has the fast zap where he brings his tiles above his head(dodge as soon as all the tiles move up his head or when you see the red flash). He has the big aoe zap where he slowly opens all his tiles slowly and the lightning comes when they fully open(dodge right before its fully opened). Then the spinning attack where he opens all his tiles faster than the big aoe zap(just move out of the way).

The last is the new move that you mentioned where he rains multiple lightning strikes on you. Just keep moving and you will dodge the first two where you can see where they hit so just avoid the red circles. The last strike is after a bit of delay after the first two and does have a red circle but the lightning comes too quick so dodge that one(the timing is i think 2 seconds after the 2nd strike).

The trick is seeing what its doing. You can attack it between its own attacks so if it doing something you need to watch. Also if you are new to a boss the torch of eternity is a good safety net and being able to get up freely means you can practice on a boss safely.

I remember that guy... not fun. I had to regroup and go find a better tribesman. Wound up finding a mid-level blue novice fighter with 122 in hammer, 121 in dual blade, and she had the Weak spot enhance (damage reduction) and Steel body (immune to hitstun) perks. While leveling her up she also gained the Hardened body (25% chance of superarmor during hitstun) and all 3 of those are now tier 3. I also farmed better crystals for my mask, specifically damage reduction, damage increase (not ATK), and the ones called Steel body (which somehow seem to work together with the perk of the same name). It still wasn't an easy fight but it was a LOT better and we took him down. If nothing else, I'd recommend the weak spot enhance perk because the lightning this boss spams seems to be considered a weak spot attack, and just that perk alone at tier 3 is 60% reduced damage taken... that's HUGE.
Now that she's level 55, she's easily in my top 3 OP fighters. She eats damage for breakfast, cannot be knocked down. immune to seemingly all special weapon and power attacks even from elites, can't be pounced even by saber boss, and despite the written chances listed on her perks it seems she spends most of a fight in superarmor. It was well worth the time it took to find her and level her up.
