Jaguar is "stuck" in salt mine

i went into the a salt mine below the snow biome. cleared the top and went down to the bottom. when going down, i got down the jaguar and sometimes they "go ballistic" for finding a way to you. now the jaguar is still shown on the map but he is not in the cave. what to do to recall it? its a golden lvl 45, please tell me i can recover him!!

AI pathing is really bad on stairs or ramps that go over themselves. This is why I try not to take any mount into caves/mines cause the AI pathing will sometime cause them to run off and even clip into the walls.

It might be below you or above you, I would spam 'follow' key (Z) and hope it teleports to you.

If the Z key is not there...you might be out of luck

yeah that was the first thing i thought as well. "Z" not there and i would have to mount it first to be able to recall "Z". but there NEEDS to be a safeguard i mean u cant lose mounts to this. fall of a mountain, die to a overe powered anything, sure. but not like this. HENRYYYYYYYY!!!!! ah ffs... lvl 45 gold gone....
