Archaic or Enhanced Steel

I see some Archaic gear seems way better than steel. Anyone have thoughts on which is best, without adding tribesmen or boss enhancements?

Mysterious Armour is better then both:)

The only thing I feel is good about Enhanced Steel, is you can turn it into Advanced Giant Ape Leather Armour set

Advanced Giant Ape Leather Armour (on enhanced steel) set and Mysterious Armour are the best in the game.

But just comparing Enhanced Steel vs Archaic,
Archaic is better but if you have an craftier with the perks, you can make legendary Enhanced Steel every craft, so its easier to get a maxed out set

personally i dont find that mysterious is better unless you grind for an ungodly amount of time because the stat percentage bonuses from 90% the mysterious armor pieces are complete ass compared to the enhanced steels bonuses
