Many items only have one location to farm them and the location really does not make sense (and not explained in game)

But yes, you only get it from the Holy Ruins in the northern wastelands

Hopefully everyone is aware the adhesive drops in the chests of the dungeon at the back of the plunderer area also. I find a lot more drops in the dungeon, especially the boss chests.
