Fever and invasions?

So we got 2 bases and 2 outposts
Our main base is in the rainforest and isn't even shown on the fever meter page. Also never gets raided besides being the biggest and most populated one.
Our 2nd is close to the Hill Portal and gets raided frequently.
Our 2 excevation pits with only one worker are building up fever but slowly.

Now my questions:
1) Are there "safe zones"? If yes. Where? We are playing on a private server so no fear of pvp or occupying important spots.
2) Is there a way to reduce fever? I hate invasions happening when I am off...

Starter area I think is safe or very slow. - I went in and tweaked my settings, default is Attack for 1:30 minutes, I don't have time for that. Don't confuse attacks on pits with fever.

2. No, and actual invasions only happen when a tribe member is online.

1) Some areas are safer than others. People have said that if you build in an area in which they cant path to your Bonfire they will just spawn on top of it (Not sure if this is true or not)
2) "No". You said its a private server, so you could technically clear the Invasion heat with console commands.
Side) Our main base has something like 6mil heat now and its never been raided a single time. Base is located in Rainforest.

fever will build up the more exp u gain in ur base from crafting etc no matter what and the lvls that come will mostly matter in what area u live

seems like you are wrong tho. The "starter" rainforest doesn't seem to get raided ever. Other spots inside rainforest do tho.
And our 2nd invasion definetly happened when noone was online. Noone even saw the announcement

Yeah I got that. But like I said our main base doesn't even appear on the tribe defense side. It doesn't collect any fever at all

This is early conan purge so ya if they can't get to you they will spawn in the air and just drop on your roof etc. - An elite spawned for me on the inside of my gate door.
