We spawned the 2nd sabertooth but it was too hard to beat, I was wondering...
will he eventually despawn or will he always be there until we can beat him?

It has to eventually respawn or it would be a way for high level players to grief low level players. Just spawn the 3rd sabertooth and watch as players in bronze gear fail miserably.

Seems to be there for some time. We dropped a 2nd Vajra ape for an hour or two and some global shouted out who left it there.
You can probably still grief low level players considering there's now a TP beside pyramids and materials are easy to find lol

The only difference between 1st and 2nd sabertooth is that it roars and stuns you. If you roll while it is rising the head for the roar you can dodge it.

Dodge or just stand behind it works wonder for 2nd sabertooth (Not tried third yet as we are not 50). But 2nd boss was not that much harder than first. Sure the roar caught us off-guard the first 1-2 times it did it. But after we learned the animation for the attack it was super easy to dodge it

The problem is that he keeps on dodging me when I try to slash him with my double blades, so we were doing very little damage, but we have vanilla settings so everything is pretty hard as it is. I bet I have to jump slash with this one mostly.

vision after you dodge his attack do a jump attack with dblades. hes is so easy and slow, or maybe its all the years of fromsoft games

Ya he dodged me also every try i did, after awhile he got tired or whatever it was and was standing still just pouting then I went in for the kill, my follower was set at ranged, might be her that got his bar down.

Be the best way to kill the saber is to be cool headed :) Best is you have anarcher with 9% dmg boost on archery. Met and Quinoasoup. Bronze Great Bow with Bronze Great arrows and an Iron Gauntlett. Bow and Gountlett with all of the third perk. ! first Boss Shoot him in the head. He should get immediately stunned. Run to him and punch him in the face till hes dead. Takes about 15 sec's :)
2nd Boss didn't get stunnned that easily. So Arrows in his head. Don't forget to press middle mouse button so that you have him always focused. Just dodge him always 2 times in a row, never run. Then he walks slowly around you shoot him in the head. rince and repeat. Takes about 5 -6 mins. I made this solo with just one tribesman. Just take an tribesman with 50 or 60% dmg reduction with you and place him somewhere on a save spot. In case you get hit.

What needs to be fixed? You chose a pvp server. I see your only post on this thread is to bash the game.
