How to delete items?

I'm playing solo, and have resources turned up to compensate for not having a bunch of people running the tribe with me. It's working out well so far, but I seem to constantly run out of space in the "plants" box, because I don't have much at all that's using Fiber. But I haven't found a way to delete items, unless there's a trashcan hidden away in the tech tree somewhere.

X to drop it on the ground, either wait for it to rot away/ignore or select items again in the loot bucket and X again to destroy it.

Someone else on the forums suggested that you have someone turn those branches into charcoal. It will skill up the tribesman and you will need charcoal for some stations anyway.

I didn't realize you could delete the loot box, that solves everything! Thank you so much.
