Controller issues.

The current mapping for the controller is OK at best but a remapping option would be great. The dash/dodge button B is in a terrible place and should be switched with crouch left thumb stick press. Or maybe one of the bumpers. Having to contort my finger around to sprint is just terrible.

Hello, how did you get your control pad to work? I'm using a PS4 pad and it doesn't work. Tried wireless, wired, big picture mode and DS4windows. Nothing :/.

I have a DS4 and just tested it for you. Controller didn't work until I changed a setting in Steam.

Steam>Settings>Controller
set Playstation Controller Support to Enabled

It was originally set to "Enabled in Games w/o support". I hope this helps.

Edit: The layout isn't great. Shoulder is block & attack, right trigger is skill. The layout makes no sense. I would not recommend anyone play this with a controller.

There is a 3rd party software that you buy for your PC (it's not that expensive) that will allow you to set up remapping of every button/trigger/D-Pad/stick etc. on your controller. It's called reWASD. You can set up profiles for every game you play with custom controller mapping layouts for each game. I've been using it with my Xbox Elite Series controller for a couple of years now. It's absolutely essential for someone like me that really sucks at M+K controls on PC.

Steam Input already allows you to do this lol. There are tons of different player made templates on Steam right now that you can adjust to your liking even.

Open Library pick Soulmask with controller plugged in and look over to the far right you should see something that says controller not supported. Click the button underneath that says controller settings theres your remapping you want. BTW this works in literally every single game on Steam you just need to know how to use it.
