Where to find Aloe?

Can someone point to what the plant looks like in game? I've found in my random wandering and swinging of scythe, but now I'm all out and haven't been able to find the plant and get more.

Google actual aloe images... It's just a plant with reddish stub/ flowers in its middle...

as an example, as far as i remember theres a medium sized lake in the starting area (southwest of the huge lake with rivers on both sides) where you can find aloe in the grass areas, easy to miss at first when you dont know how it looksbut like.
in general as a tip, you can find all types of seeds and plants and such to grow em yourself by destroying and looting the barrels and crates in camps

I have been looking for them using the above instructions but can't find any. I think I found aloe on an NPC or in a barrel which was enough to get a few healing doohickeys and seeds. However, my plot has yet to grow anything. It will grow cotton.

its in patches. if u know what aloe looks like real life, ull find SMALL plants that look just like them in tight patches on the junble floor.

I found the aloe. It is NOT RED FLOWERS, so that's what was throwing me off. It is just the grown aloe plant.

If you still have trouble finding it, turn ground clutter way down.

Once you figure out what the aloe looks like in-game you'll notice it is absurdly common, I'm guessing as CoLS Firestar mentioned you have ground clutter preventing you from seeing it as it is kind of a short plant.
