Character moving slowly for no apparent reason

I'm not encumbered, well fed, not thristy, well rested. But I started walking very slowly and running only makes me walk a little faster. What gives?

Still don't know what caused it, but returning to the start menu and re-entering cured it.

Not encumbered meaning your carried weight is not much more than about 80% of your maximum or not encumbered meaning you're at 99.9% of your max weight? The more you carry the slower you move even if you're a bit under your maximum...

This, sounds like they did. I did that once when first starting lol. I think it's "/" slash to toggle? Give it a try if not look in the menu for it.

Close to weight limit, also tired can do this.
