joining a friend at a solo server. can you invite or join their tribes?

Same here would love to know the answer. We can see each other in the game but no idea how to join an tribe

so far joining a friend in a solo server is kinda pointless atm. you cannot do anything so it seems, and nothing you do in such server carry on, since the moment the host log off, your friend gets kicks out of the game.

It works perfectly fine. One needs to start a Tribe by clicking the respective button on the Tribe screen. The other one will then get this Tribe displayed on his Tribe screen and will be able to request permission to join. Once granted the Tribe leader will have the option to adjust privileges, promote, demote or dismiss etc.

You're looking for a Clan. Have your friend create a clan, then apply to join. Application will show up, friend will need to set clan settings to allow you to build, manage, etc.
