how do you join a solo server from a friend?

This doesn't work for me nor my friend, we've tried everything from joining while the games on through steam overlay, tried joining while the games off and using the steam friends list join option. neither of our servers show up for each other on the multiplayer server list either and both of ours have the option checked to allow others to join.

i dont know if that worked fro my friend but we use the game ID. so when u start there will be a game id at the top right. giving that to my friend i guess it pops up as multiplayer room or something.

Off the top of my head I think you go look up their steam name in multi-room where online play is, or use the code they can share before they jump into a game.. If that makes sense lol..

How do i join my friends tribe? we can't seem to interact with eachother and if i check the Tribes list there are none.
