Constant Poison Environment DOT

My character is taking constant DOT from poison environment but I'm not in a poisonous area anymore. Help! TY!

Answer to my own question: Drink antidote to decrease.

NVM it just reset it self right back to poisoned after using antidote

Poison and Radiation builds up, so its not an instance 'cure'
Antidote only removes 60% no matter how much or how little is in your system

Poison and Radiation takes time to get out of your system and you will be damaged slowly while that happens

The bar show how much is in your system. Its is green, you only get a few hps per second damage, red, its killing you in seconds.

Top right corner, bar shows you the contamination severity. green to dark red. This determines how fast you build up the toxin or radiation in your body.

Press O and look at your stats sheet. If tainted, it's more than zero. E.g 240/1000.

Your natural health will slowly reduce your contamination back to zero if you're outside but you'll still take damage, More physique stat recover faster. Antidote clear 60%, so 240 drops to 96.

if you're next to one of your campfires/bonfires.. and can easily pick up your dropped bag, there's always the options of pressing "esc", and then click "respawn" on the bottom right.

Mushroom soup should remove the poison eventually.

Yep....I thought he was yanking my chain but I can confirm some basic mushroom soup did the trick. Well, that and rinsing off in water since the cause was a human flinging poo at me.
